La Voglia
A century ago, Vienna’s Güldene Waldschnepfe (“Golden Woodcock”) tavern attracted a large clientele. After the tavern closed down, the striking building began to fall into decay.
Eventually the premises changed hands, and the new owners undertook a complete renovation. The ground floor became home to a smart Italian bistro complete with loft-style dining room and show kitchen. Carefully selected oak furniture and terrazzo flooring created an elegant ambience full of character.
