Kick-off for REISINGER KUTSCHER: the start of a new chapter in sustainable architecture

The official seal on a longstanding partnership

Over the years we’ve worked together – with varying intensity – on a wide range of projects. The success of our latest major project, the life science hub VIENNA ONE, prompted us not only to continue this fruitful partnership, but to place it on a firmer footing under the official name REISINGER KUTSCHER.

New corporate identity unveiled
To communicate our working partnership to the outside world, we’ve chosen a corporate identity that reflects our commitment to sustainability and the circular economy. Our logo, a broken circle, symbolises the recyclability of our architecture and underlines our efforts to use resources sensibly und responsibly.

A website that reflects our values
We’re proud to present our website, which bears a distinctive and personal female signature. As well as showcasing our projects, which testify to our solid and longstanding expertise in building refurbishment, our website also profiles us as individuals and reflects our values and beliefs. Watch the video or read the “About us” page (LINK zur Über uns-Seite) to find out more about how we address our clients’ needs and what you can expect from us.

Our motto: Building on solid values
Our projects are always the focus of our work, and our motto Building on solid values reflects our credo of redesigning buildings to give them a new lease of life and preserve high-quality living space. For us, repurposing and upgrading of existing buildings is the key to transforming spaces and revitalising communities.

A clear message going forward
Our intention with the REISINGER KUTSCHER brand is to send out a clear signal:

“Our aim is to support your visions, using sustainable architecture to develop the full potential of existing buildings.”

We look forward to embarking on this new phase of our partnership together with new and existing clients and associates.

Official opening of VIENNA ONE
The start of a new chapter

Today saw the official opening of VIENNA ONE,). After an intensive planning phase and months of building and refurbishment work, our project to transform a former industrial building into a cutting-edge life science hub has finally been completed. The premises in Vienna’s Hernals district now houses four subsidiaries of the Danaher Corporation, a leading global life sciences and diagnostics group.

Formal opening ceremony
The formal opening ceremony began with speeches from the project management team, after which guests were served a delicious lunch in the new canteen. During and after the lunch there was ample opportunity for relaxed networking, and we seized the chance to hand out our freshly printed new business cards.

Thanks to project partners
A special highlight for us was the praise we received from all the project partners for our successful refurbishment of the building. Many thanks to the entire team, and especially to Michael Mullen, Director of Leica Microsystems Austria and initiator of VIENNA ONE, for his decisive role in the project and his unwavering support throughout. Here’s to an innovative future!

A furniture-buying trip to Italy

We recently had the pleasure of accompanying our clients, the developers of VIENNA ONE, on a trip to Monastier di Treviso in Italy. The purpose of our trip? A visit to the showroom of furniture design company Arper to select the perfect furniture for our latest project.

Reception and showroom visit
After a warm reception we were led into the showroom, where an impressive selection of tables, chairs and other items of furniture were on display. Wasting no time, we seized this opportunity to inspect the quality and design of every item and carefully chose the perfect pieces to complement VIENNA ONE.

Resource-efficient production
We were especially impressed by our tour of the production facilities, watching fascinated as computerised machines cut leather pieces from a full hide with such precision that minimal clippings were left over. This resource-efficient production process confirmed that our decision to work with Arper had been the right one.

Dinner in Venice
Our trip to Italy was rounded off by dinner in Venice, where we discussed our impressions of the day. Selecting the furniture for VIENNA ONE was a vital step in the process of bringing the space to life, and we are confident that the pieces chosen strike a perfect balance of form and function.

Opening of “Kutsch – cook the market”

Early September 2023 saw the opening of our project “Kutsch – cook the market”overlooking the lively Kutschker Market in Vienna’s Währing district. After eight months of refurbishment work it was time to unveil a new restaurant that brings produce fresh from market to plate.

A culinary experience

The owners, father and son duo Wolfgang and Max Maierhofer, celebrated the opening by inviting friends and family to enjoy an exclusive menu accompanied by fine wines in their inspiring new premises.

Architectural vision and implementation

Our aim was to create a space that captures the vibrancy of the market and translates it into a backdrop for creative cuisine. The challenge of combining functionality and aesthetics was the cornerstone of our design process.

Address: Schopenhauerstraße 19/corner of Kutschkergasse, 1180 Vienna
